Description

Pepper grows on a shrub like plant (Piper Nigrum) and there are four varieties that are all harvested by hand. We only bring in the fresh green peppercorns once or twice a year as they are perishable. Black peppercorns are the most common, red and white peppercorns are much more rare and therefore much sought after as they have unique flavour differences and due to their scarcity are correspondingly more expensive.
